There's always an additional element in his shots and the grass was it in this instance. 7 but 8 if the blacks were richer. |

This makes me smile! Love the story in thirds, too - the trees, the house and powerlines in the valley, and the wistful young man taking it all in. Really nice! |

composition is good but what makes this stand out from similar photos is that even line of grass along the bottom. well done. |

I really like the mood of this, and the sense of wonderment from him in an obviously abandoned place. But the balance, composition and crop are off for me. I also feel the lighting is just a bit flat, especially for a "Jagar" image. To my eye it needs more contrast. |
