 HDR shot from 3 exposures. Proud Lake Recreation Area is a wonderful place to hike or XC ski in the woods and is not far from Metro Detroit area.

I like the way the line divides two distinct areas.

Sadly, this looks as if HDR processing was applied, but overdone. To my eyes this image looks really flat with almost no contrast whatsoever, and I suspect the light may have been rather flat to begin with. I like the color provided by the dead leaves still hanging on the trees.

Nice colors in the trees.

Watch out for blue tints in the snows, and unnatural grey in the sky.
