 Thanks for the comments and votes. My recent computer and monitor upgrades continue to make a difference to my processing options and choices.

Left the house less than 20 minutes before sunset on the last day of the challenge and drove to this section of coast in the neighboring town. I knew from an outing late last year that the sun was setting far enough south to illuminate it, and more importantly for this challenge, that the incline to the beach was exceptionally steep. I was hoping that the snow hadn't been washed away by the tide as I didn't have enough daylight to go and shoot anywhere else.

The movement in the water was a real bonus and I timed my shots to capture it at its maximum effect.

I was happy to stay at the high vantage point of the parking lot and not descend, as the top section of steps is very steep and was covered with ice.

Oddly, it is that very water movement which drew me in. The tones, the hint of warmth from the setting sun, the steely blues, glorious.
