|This image is cropped slightly but otherwise directly out of the camera with respect to the aspect ratio. The white stuff at the bottom is snow on the parking lot, which I can see gave some the impression of clouds. I shot it through the window, as it was about 14 degrees outside, and the foggy area at the bottom is dirty -dusty reflection, which further gives the appearance of clouds.
This was taken from part of the building that is perpendicular with the building face that you see, from one floor up, and therefore I was able to get effect of being pretty close to the building but outside of it. I toyed with the idea of turning it 90 degrees, which probably would have created a real feeling of vertigo. Strangely, and in an unfortunate turn of events, there were much better shots with title the same as mine.
In retrospect, if I had friends, I would have asked one to lie on the ground in the parking lot- a la the clever and very well executed Vawendy shot.
