[Jan. 27th, 2013 09:50:28 AM]

A few hours before rollover I'm at 6.51.

Unfortunately there are not 3 generations. I'm the guy in the middle but the man who's holding the frame is not my dad, he's my brother.

I lost my grandfather in 1998 and my father 10 years later. It's still painful to think of that and in some way I hoped this image didn't do well.

My brother was born in '58 and I was born in '75. We are 5 siblings - 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

I never want to shoot cliche photos, but I thought this was a nice try to do. Not an easy one: 11am: I took a photo of my son, then edited and went out to print it. I had a problem and the file didn't work for printing (a renaming issue), so I had to go back there at 4 pm.

After printing I bought the frame, went back home and took a photo of myself holding the frame with my son's pic inside.

At 6.30 pm. I was printing my photo. At 9pm. my brother was ready for the last session.

I used the same light set up for the three images.

This is a totally awesome picture and a terrific idea. I love the choice of red for clothing as it makes it so dramatic and consistent.

I love the idea. The consistency with the same hoody in each picture is definitely a plus. Congratulations! Great work.

well executed.
i had trouble with my setup trying to do this regarding glass in the frame and lighting; as well as the fact my studio is currently tore down due to some home renos.
I hope to see this finish well since i know mine won't and i think it's a fantastic idea.

Your Father looks happy, your son reasonably happy, but you need to smile more to make this more convincing to me that you love La famiglia.

Good idea with all of you wearing red!

I like the way you have handled the generations, and your photographic quality is excellent as always.
