I hear the wind among the trees
Playing the celestial symphonies;
I see the branches downward bent,
Like keys of some great instrument. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Taken during a snow shoe trip in the Lost Lake area of Indian Peaks Wilderness.

I hear the wind whistling
through the bare, bone trees.
The chill music trumpeting
the arrival of winter.
I gather my coat tighter
against the biting wind.
There is a certain dignity and grace to this image that is reminiscent of Ansel Adam's famous image "Aspens". Not to put too fine a point on it, but the conversion is a little heavier than I would like, but that's a nit pick. Well done.
