Yes, this was an acutal, functioning mirror, and it's proper reflection. This was my 1st attempt at selective desaturation, so I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks for the comments!

Excellent lighting and composition. I personally would have cropped it a bit tighter. The black space does add to the scene. It adds a sense of lonliness or isolation, I just think a little bit less would help to push the main subjects a little further forward. I think you have done a great job to communicate the spirit of the scene.

Nah, this is not a REAL mirror, but the idea and presentation is very creative! For me, lighting is a bit much on the frog, and the edge of this fake-mirror. I think I would also crop a little bit on the left and right side, and the top. (7)

Nice optical illusion. Your a bit too contrasty for my taste though. A little fill lighting from the dark side would help with the hot spots, bring down the contrast a touch and give it more depth.

I love this photo, the frog just makes me smile...looking in the mirror to see his true self, or what he hopes to be? who knows, better kiss him!

For that reason, I like the out of focus face in the mirror...it makes it seem more an illusion of what is hoped for, or dreamed of.
