My photography goal for 2013 is to connect with people more and photograph the moments in the lives of people. I mean to say I want to focus on more human connection with my photographs. I have a very hard time approaching people, but I do find that all those worries dissolve once I introduce myself and my intentions. Most people are very open and accepting. I want to practice that more this year. Along with, using my Leica gear much more often.

For some reason it reminded me of some of Steve McCurry's street portraits. A portrait that kind of brings us closer to the subject. Great light (love how you showed the wrinkles and the eye). Nice textures on the hat and face. Great job!
