 New Years 2013 Resolution:

2013 is an important year for me in that I am anticipating change, an end to an old way of life, and the beginning of something new. In order to find a sort of tranquility in this year of change, my new years resolution is to step back in order to see the larger, much more majestic picture. As important as detail may be, this picture reminds me that I am small in comparison to the grand scheme of things.

Seems somewhat flat (low contrast) and washed out.

Misty distances can work well but here there is a need for more contrast to make the image shout louder.
