 This is a six month exposure. The camera is a homemade pinhole camera in a flat cigar box (i.e. very wide angle). The view is from my office window. This was an attempt at a solargraph. The result is somewhat anticlimactic, but the odds were against me -- reflected versus direct sun, and I was exposing through a window. The sun trails all ran together, though you can see some separation in the reflections on the right side of the print.

The paper is Ilford mulitgrade RC paper. No chemical development here; the long exposure actually stains the paper. I scanned it, and inverted the colors in my photo program.

I placed the camera on June 20 and there it sat until December 20. Fortunately no one found or touched it during that time.

I think you could be excused for some post processing to bring out the unique qualities of this image. The reflected sun trails provide a surreal experience.
