 This is a composite but the only additions to the scene are the sky with moon (actually the sun on a very overcast day) and the snow (which I know still does not look real but which I re-did many times using many different approaches - thanks to forum members for their tips). The image was taken just after sunset. The scene had a very light lavender cast which I decided to pump up; obviously some liked it, some not so much :) I also might add that the tree is actually a light display - just strings of light spread from a single point on the barn side down to a semi-circle on the ground; so it was pretty flat. It was much brighter but very orange which did not work with the red and purple imo. Over all, I was pleased with both the result and the finish.

This is pretty. It would make a perfect Christmas card. Congrats on the top ten! And I like the extra snow :D

This looks like a Christmas card. That can be either good or bad. My first impression was bad Christmas card. If it weren't for the extra snow in the foreground I think I might like this photo better. Some people may like this the way it is though. Everyone has different feelings for holiday cards. :) 5

I had to come back to this a couple of times because I couldn't decide if I liked it or not. I still don't know if I like it, but that only means that the benefit of the doubt goes to the artist. I like the colors and the edge fade, the lighted Christmas tree kind of blends into the back ground and doesn't really stand out. I'm also not a big fan of blue snow.
