All the things we hide in water
hoping we won't see them go—
(forests growing under water
press against the ones we know)—

and they might have gone on growing
and they might now breathe above
everything I speak of sowing
(everything I try to love).

I thought this might be a ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_N.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_N.gif', '/') + 1) . ' skewsme image, and that is a compliment! I love the softness, blurriness and muted color palette. Congrats on the well deserved top ten finish.

Gorgeous dof and colors and amorphous effect. The blur is perfect.

Has a nice feel to this, not sure about the crop though, still one of the better ones, already voted!

Nice visual transition down into the earth reaching for water.

This has a very nice, otherworldly, Middle Earth-esque feel to it. Splash of colour from the leaves livens up the image. Tiny bit too much HDR for my taste.

While I'm not a fan of such a tall portrait orientation image, I do like the moss covered roots and the "water line". It's a dreamy image with attractive splashes of color.

Really love the way the roots tell the story. All the perfect highways and and channels that let you know just how much water has given this tree life all those years. One of my favorites.

This one and one other one are my favorites for this challenge! How very beautiful this is and it certainly meets the challenge! Love the lighting and soft focus in this one! Composition is top notch!
This is a 10 for me and I am sure it will be in the top 3, at least I hope it will be!
