 Still in Cuba at this point.

Something about this image that I really love. Probably not the most interesting for everyone, but a personal favourite. And not bad for ISO 8,000.

The woman is a surprise find, big contrast to the big portraits. I like that she is almost out of frame.

I'm reading the comments about the historical, fifties feel this one has and wondering. Is this an office still in use or a set-up in a museum. The two things that fascinate me are the plastic bag plunked down on the desk and the woman - I am trying to make both of them fit and failing.

I am catching the heavy Russian cultural influence in this shot! The pictures on the wall look almost Bolshevik in nature.

This is a historical treasure. The posters of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro are amazing. The old office furniture is also super, marking the suspended time of Cuba. This is great photojournalism. I'd expect to see an image like this in a weekly news magazine.

i find this image quite interesting - it seems that Cuba is almost like a place that time forgot with all the items from the 1950s still in use, the desk, the chair, the paintings of Castro...
