Challenge: Holiday Cards (Expert Editing*)
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
Date: Dec 9, 2012
Date Uploaded: Dec 10, 2012

This was an off the cuff photograph taken on my mobile phone yesterday. I think it represents everything about the holiday season the comfiness of a warm inviting home and a cat curled up by its owner.

This was one of my favorites for this challenge. It reminds me of an old photo of the cherished family pet.

Congratulations on your first entry in dpc!
Do keep in mind that scores on challenges here are not a comment on the quality of your picture or your skill as a photographer, but on your entry's appeal across a broad, diverse, world-wide audience.
For example, Ansel Adams couldn't ribbon in the challenge "In the style of Ansel Adams".
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Like the cat concept but not the cropped off portion of the tail.

Meow to you too

For me there's rather too much blur in this image for it to have the impact it deserves. I'd appreciate a bit more eye contact with your animal friend even if they're closed.
