Years ago, it used to be if you were smoking indoors (gasp) and it bothered the people around you, they would be the ones to move. You've gotten really good with the lighting, but if this was in the beginning, it seems you've had a knack for it from the start.

Looks like you are daring the viewer to say anything about the smoking.

I quit over three years ago and still miss it. Great light.

There are many layers to Mr. Minso. Like an onion! Suits and smokes, ghouls and zombies, blood and gore, food and family...

Great lighting to accentuate the smoke.

Looks like a statement and I applaud it. I've always thought about a perceived incongruity with a "long-hair" and a suit. Must be my generation. But, don't get me wrong, mine is longer that yours ;>)

The only thing which detracts from the image is there's something hanging off your left where the blazer meets the jeans. I can't figure out what it is.

That would be a open cover for the cable outlet. Easy enough to clean up but I think I just overlooked it.

I think I said this elsewhere, but the monochrome conversion and the toning on this are special. It's probably the superb lighting and the effective capture of the smoke in the air. Whatever it is, this really works.

You sure clean up good :) This is a very fine formal portrait and I like it a lot, Josh. Great lighting.
