From second half of January 2012...first a cat, now some flowers. I know many think they are over photographed. I just try to be different about how I approach them. Certainly not always, but this is the stuff of my life, the things I enjoy...so why wouldn't I photograph them?

I also noticed looking through this thread, I am not alone! We all have our favorite things.

I love your choice of processing on these tulips.

Love how the clear edges are just jumping out from the textured overlay.

I want to be you when I grow up. Have you started your line of cards yet? You really should.

I love cats and flowers- there's almost always a dynamic quality to them. I like the processing here too.

How can you over-photograph flowers - or anything you love? This is lovely. I like the way the perspective brings us down in a curve through the tulips that are still closed or turned away to the discovery of the open one.

It's beautiful! And I personally enjoy it very much, maybe even more than you! This would make a wonderful card too!

This is gorgeous. I like flowers in B&W. Well, let's face it, I like flowers and love taking pictures of them, but for some reason haven't done it much this last year.

Very nice and I agree with you, if you enjoy it why not photograph it? Ignore what others think. I feel the same way about my glass shots, which I do a lot of for Flickr and my blog.

Tulips are never boring :) I'm missing the colors here, but I like the processing. Very nice mood!

Tulips, i think. It's often difficult to show colorful flowers in monochrome tones and retain the impact. You've done well. This is a pleasant image to view.
