This is a real beauty. Lovely warm tones, crisp detail. A wonderful representation of this icon.

love the close crop detail and the wonderful late afternoon or early morning golden hues

The detail presented is amazing. I wish I knew how to do it. I suppose I would have to start with a pretty detailed image, of course...

Hey! Enjoyed this one last night on Facebook! :) Just love seeing the closeup detail on this Neil- so cool to get a new look at an icon!

Wow, definitely Gotham! I'm drawn to the details here. How about cropping out the sky and focusing on the lower part with one or two arches, whatever fits in a square or portrait crop. The details and the golden hue are amazing... once cropped, I wonder if a little rotate/skew would lose the distracting angle. Just an idea.
Or you could save this for Best Of :-).

One of my favourite buildings in New York. Wondering how you got such a close up of it though. The light is fantastic.

A very unique view of this building! The warm golden color is great! I know they always say get close to your subject, but here I think you can move back a bit! But again, this is a very uniqe view you have captured.

What a bizarre stucture! (I'm not familiar with it.)

I wouldn't really know what to do with this because of the angle that you shot this. So just enjoy it for what it is - a beautiful building with a gorgeous golden glow. Love the textures.

Or - in all honesty - just go and reshoot it :)

You could mess with reality (hey, it's a side challenge!) and make the larger window on the right match the darkness of the one on the left. Then the face would be even more blatant. Very entertaining image and perfectly titled :-)

Very gothic and "gotham". Great design elements, well captured.

I like the face created by your choice of crop - i just find the sides a bit too tight, especially on the left side.

Beautiful rich color, detail and texture. It's a bit close cropped but that may be all you could get. Since it's almost there, I would pull it into square - if the angle and distortion were more pronounced, maybe not. I'd also lose the little thingies sticking off the sides - this is really more about shapes and textures and color and less about the integrity of the image IMO.

This looks overwhelming, nice colors but a bit too much of them in one view

I really like the detail in the brickwork, and the reflections off the metal. I always see zoomed out images of this building and never realized how great it looks up close.

That is quite a crown! ;D
