The thing I like about this photograph (besides the contrast between the bright whites and the deep blacks) is the contrast in texture. There's a lot going on with that and to me it give it a lot of "feel". Nice focus. 8

Excellent! A friend of mine takes these types of street portraits and they always have high contrast and look great. This is on that same level.
