For this, i know that some people have said they'd like to see the face, the thing is that i didn't crop it there, i didn't include it in the original for respect to a soldier who was crying while he placed this. I did not want to disturb or tarnish his memory or the memory of those being honored. Afterwords I got a shot of the three soldiers who came together while i was there and showed them the images i had taken. This man was happy his face was not included as it was a personal moment for him.
I admit the image would have been more "complete" to many with the face, but in my opinion, this is any and every soldier who has served and lost friends or family.
Thank you to those who have left comments, it's good to know that my judgement on this as the entry for this challenge has been well received by others.

Thanks, yeah, i was really hoping this would get a higher score...but then again, c'est la vie. people want pretty and flashy to give out the high scores.
