I created the Cherry Button Tree from several different types and sizes of pink buttons and green buttons.

The tree trunk is made from Pearler beads which I painstakingly laid out in a swirl tree pattern and then carefully placed the iron over it so they would melt together.

I composed all the materials out on decorative paper til I was satisfied it looked good then glued it down.

The last step was waiting for some good light. I wanted some natural light so I had to wait until the light streamed through the palm fronds down onto our walkway. It took patience to get the right 'splash' of light onto the button tree.

I thought about creating a picture with buttons but didn't take the time to do so. This is charming, though, and I love your background. Nice depth. Top five for me. Voted earlier.
