Gorgeous. I like the layering to create the border. That red couldn't be a more perfect color (my favorite!)

Ok, it's a tulip with water drops on black background, but that's where the similarities end.
First of all, your image lacks the simplicity and elegance of the original - mostly due to the excessive border, but also due to the higher contrast; Your lighting is quite different directionwise; the aspect ratio and the single leaf going into the opposite direction to the stem makes the overall composition of the original much more pleasing.
