 Well, I had a pile of fall color photos that I was considering for the FS. Then I started working on a personal photo to print of one of our young shelties and I liked it so much I decided to enter it. Probably get dinged by the pet police, but sometimes you just "gotta do what ya gotta do". :-)

Processing - crop, desaturate blues, cyans, and yellows. Apply a Nik High Key filter. Duplicated the layer and applied Neat Image (remove all noise) then erased through all but the top right and lower areas to bring back detail in the face. Cleaned up a couple of dust balls in the fur and resized for web.
