Most people on this site couldn't take a photo like this because they're afraid of pointing a camera at someone standing two feet away. I'm not one of them.

She actually struck me with her umbrella which is in her right hand when she noticed I was taking her photo. No clue why she was so upset though. Walking down the street she was screaming at everyone. Decided to press my luck.

Really happy it finished in the bottom quarter. Actually I'm not. This place sucks kryptonite donkey balls. I'll probably re-up anyways so I can have fun voting. That passes the time at home when I'm bored.

(Better late than never but) I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Great fast and accurate focus at this DOF. Brilliant contrast in the tones too. A brave capture to get - but it has such life and is very 'of a moment'. I can see she is cross but I wouldn't have guessed she was cross at you. Well done for running the gauntlet!

Critical stuff: Not really.

Overall: I'd have thought this was a bvy too. Enough said.
