 I have been observing and taking pictures of these birds for some time now, this is the first time I have ever seen two hummingbirds that weren't mating doing anything but defending their food source.

I can think of the crop being one distraction, but what is the other one? Coming back later to vote.

I only see one distraction and that's the feeder itself
Seriously, there's three elements in the image (apart from the sky), there's no way two of these could be distracting - especially considering that the birds are more in focus than the feeder.

I can't work out what the distracting elements are, the birds are a little OOF, still good try.
