 I have many doubts about this image, I don't think that I understand the meaning of a distracting elements within an image. I expect that there will be many DNMC interpretations.
I am not very happy either with the image, I don't think that it is very efficient at transmitting the idea I had. The intention is that the toes represent the roots of a tree which idea is transmitted by the leaves. The feet also represent the search of a place, a place where to finally rest and reside permanently (set roots).

well, while i interpreted it differently, i still think this image was one of the best in the challenge. few things are more distracting than toe hair, me thinks... good job!

just watching this, one can almost feel the leaves under one's feet (crossing them is a nice twist, as is the color treatment).
