 Film is loaded and ready to go! I know it looks like interbreeding, but the Kodak film is the stock; the Fujifilm canister is empty and will serve as the take-up.

The whole setup looks very neat. To me the spooling of film from one canister into another looks like it would be hard to set up. I can't wait to see the pics.

The film is actually very tight and very flat. There's good tension between the two cartridges. What's not shown in this picture is a rectangular piece of black felt that sits on top of everything, but it acts more as a light barrier than a guide.

The ticker can be seen in this picture, but just barely (bad angle). Look on the left film support.

I don't see the ticker you mentioned. I'm guessing the film will not be completely flat or tight? Distortions should be good.
