A sculpture of a tree by artist Roxy Paine, on display in the courtyard the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art. He calls this series of work "Dendroids", and this particular one is titled "Conjoined". I declined to use that title myself, as the partner it is conjoined with is not visible in my shot.

I'm figuring some people will ding it for not being a real living tree, but the challenge description does not specify a real one. Hope it pulls in some good comments.

Good tones for minimal editing! You wont be competing against a Gaul in this challenge at least.

How many times

divides the steel sky...

from one love,

Quite impossible not to take pics of Roxy Paine's trees; probably photographed more then the real ones. You took a very nice one indeed.

I think this is really quite cool. I can't tell whether I want to see what it would look like processed or not -- it's pretty cool not processed. hmmmm :)

So cool the way that slick bark works as a reflective surface - never seen anything like it. Lovely starkness - lines and tones. Voted earlier.
