The "Moulin Rouge" camera takes shape. Here I've drilled a hole (the aperture) into the bottom of the tin box. I placed a "lens" inside to show how it will fit over the aperture. The bottom will eventually be spray painted black.
It's going to be interesting watching this develop. Where do you get the acrylic lens? I've looked at some acrylic paperweights with fancy decorations applied to the flat surface and thought, if only they didn't have that on them.
