 Inspired by Marbo's excellent moon shots. Used the same flood filter that he does. I love this effect!

Whoa! I've never heard of a flood filter, but I'm sure going to look into it. This is off-the-chart awesome!!!

You're correct General. This started out as just a shot of the moon in the sky at dusk. I had several in my files and after seeing the images Marbo has produced using the filter, I thought I'd try it. His shots are awesome and this was just a little tribute to him. It's alot of fun to play with and can be found at flamingpear.com. Thanks for taking a look! Now I just need to get a clearer, sharper shot of the moon and try it again to make a print for myself. :-)

I think maybe it creates the rippled foreground "reflection" from the upper image.

But it's an oustanding image however it's done. : )
