 This past Sunday I happened to be shooting some pics when a group of costumed people appeared. Once I found a production person, I learned that they were recreating the life of Samuel Champlain in Canada. So there was a Champlain kicking around, along with a couple of Aboriginals and some courier du bois.

The gentleman in this image is indeed of Aboriginal descent- I believe Ojibway, Shoshone and Metis - and not only depicted an Aboriginal in the production, but clearly was very much in touch with his heritage. So I feel that he is indeed in his natural element, and at this point (very early in the shooting) I was skulking about and thus generally ignored by everyone, shooting from a careful distance so as to not appear in the video.

pp: shot RAW, crop...and very little else. Probably my usual brightness/contrast and vibrance/saturation along with resizing and sharpening and save for web. Very minor cloning of some marks on the canoe and in the fur.
