 I have been switching out my image for the month every week. But I think I'll stick with this one. It truly captures the magic and splendor of that evening.

It was at the end of a particularly active and wonderful - if steamy - day, spent in the company of "salties" (saltwater crocodiles), and the evening with friends of Vernon at the Darwin Ski Club, where this was taken. A rock band was playing covers of The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and 80s classics.

It was low tide, and the water was about a quarter mile out, exposing the rocky bottom over which little kids were exploring and playing. The scent of plumeria and the sounds of laughter filled the balmy air. Our table is the (sadly) distorted one in the lower right corner; it sat on this marvelous lawn under this magnificent tree.

It was sublime.

Nice idea and I like the light that hit the tree, but the sloping horizon kills it for me.

The lighting in this image has great effect the sun in the background is an excellent position good sharpness ..Well done

I like how at first the chairs all look like odd little animals gathered at the tree.
