 yep she is.. This is her second year here.. She showed up again early March when our weather was so warm. She is one of the more friendly ones, landing on my finger and pokeing me in the nose with her bill.. Last year I named her Ruby-do. I believe she was born here, last year she looked like a juvenile. I've read they do tend to go back to their home site to nest... I hope she comes back next year!! How cool is this

Here is what a Ruby Throated web site said about this type of female: Throat white, or with occasional faint buffy streaking (very, very rarely a black or red throat feather may occur in an old female)

So Glaring wrong is also Very Very Rare
