This is a quick drive from my house. It had just stormed and on that way home from somewhere else I noticed the clouds were rolling over the hills like waves...like it often does in the mountains after a good air clearing rain. It was so quiet up there...just the sound of clouds passing by and water running down the mountainside. I think it was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnessed...and I'm not a sunset sort of girl. I still can't believe there was no one else up there watching it happen. Lucky me. I felt like I was inside a Maxfield Parrish painting.
