Greetings from the Critique Club
I notice you've not been a member very long at DPC and this was only your second challenge submission. Try not to get too disheartened by your score in this challenge.
The theme of this challenge was Blue Architecture. For most voters, this theme implies the building or structure should itself be blue and for sure I feel this is probably why you scored as low as you did. Had this been entered in a different challenge (eg pylons - which believe it or not was a challenge topic once!) it would not have scored so low.
I think the composition is strong and the angle you shot it at is interesting. I love the sun and lens flare that often comes with shooting directly into the sun. However, many DPC voters find that to be a technical flaw and will lower your score.
It was nice to see something a little bit out of the box in this challenge. I do like the image a lot, but am certain the majority of voters felt it did not adequately represent the challenge topic.
Keep on entering though!
Sarah

For this theme I wanted to see actual blue architecture or the sky reflected
in the architecture like on windows not just a structure with blue sky around it. |

I like the way you chose to compose this, however I don't find the subject very engaging. |

All blends in abit too much.. More contrast between the tower and the sky maybe... |
