The sudden flurry of snow stunned us too! It was welcome though after a long dry summer and winter. And it’s snowing again. The Eastern Free State, South Africa has it all.

Not sure where you'd find this much snow on the ground at this time of year... especially given the plant life in the background - looks to be from the northern hemisphere which (with the possible exception of extreme northern canada/russia/alaska) should have zero snow on the ground and some foilage on the trees.
