The poem was IF by Kipling. It's my favorite all time. Thanks for the comments. I had a few other "nice" entries but I couldn't help poking some fun at the high key (highest key on the piano) I knew it wouldn't be anywhere near the top but I just couldn't resist the pun. To those that "got it" I hope it made you chuckle.

Side note - soft focus was achieved using Saran wrap over the lens colored with a silver sharpie ..

If - Rudyard Kipling
Clever. I like that the image suits the challenge both in subject and in technique. Voted earlier.

windy title aside, nice simple concept here - would have liked to see it in middle of keyboard to eliminate so much black. gl

If (Rudyard Kipling)
I like the double interpretation of high key.

I don't know if it's the angle or if, in fact, that finger is incredibly short...

A high key high key, huh? Sad that it took me a while to see that. Decent image. Nothing stellar but not a stinker. It just is what it is. Not sure of the poem/lyric.

If... then you probably don't know what's going on. 6 for being on topic. Many miss the soft focus requirement.
