 My most favorite Deep Sky Object, the magnificent Rho Ophiuchi region. I was expecting long time my chance to depict this splendid area of our galaxy.

- GoTo Mount : AstroTrac TT320X
- Camera : Canon 1000Da (modified for astrophotography)
- Focal Length : 175mm
- Exposures : a) 10 x 135 sec at f2.8 and ISO 1600
- FOV : 77.65%

- Alignment, calibration, stacking with DeepSkyStacker
- Further processing with PixInsight LE, PS CS3 and Neat Image.
- Specifically in Photoshop:
Levels (3 or 4 times)
Selective color (7 or 8 times)
Color balance (2 or 3 times)
Exposure (2 or 3 times)
Blending modes (to reveal the fine details of the colorful nebulae)
Color Dodge
Clone out lot of hot pixels that were enhanced because of the processing
Crop
Resize and save for web
