Challenge: Camera Phone Free Study II (Basic Editing*)
Collection: Workshop
Camera: Apple iPhone 4S
Date: Jul 12, 2012
Date Uploaded: Jul 12, 2012

This was nowhere near my original idea for this challenge. In fact, this was something I didn't take a picture of for several days. It is in the parking spot directly next to mine and I thought "I used to take pictures of dead things - not any more!" … Oh well.
Anyway, when I saw how much detail the iPhone had captured in the feathers, I decided to use it - despite my original intentions (to use the camera phone ina way that an SLR would be difficult or impossible).

Super shot, don't give up on death, it's worth it! I am a fellow morbidity shooter, you will always provoke a response and that it's negative doesn't invalidate it!! "Life just isn't all hearts and flowers" ~ I quote my younger sister on that :)

Great detail and emotive content.
The title seems a bit tacky, and is just my opinion.
(I don't factor the title in my scoring though)

Such a good shot- the herringbone tweet, I mean tweed style wings are really nice.

I think this is the best shot in the challenge. Amazing detail in the feathers. I might have left more edge around the bird if it was empty space, I think that might have added to the morbidity of the image. Not only is it dead, but alone. I have a funny feeling regardless of the quality of the image, the DPC crowd will crucify you.
