First off this is a very good photo, I think it would have done much better if it was in a different category, obviously by your comments this did not fit into travel.

Composition - though this isn't classical composition I think it comes off very nicely. I really think it is a very appealing photo to the eye...Especially that the girl on the right is just a tad bit higher up, helps it.

Exposure - the exposure here is excellent... very nice job with that

Color - the color here is great, I love how the blue background they are on brings out the color of their eyes. It's really cute. Also the way the pinks in their shirts match is great as well.

Focus - no complaints here

Background - nice that you have them with a solid background, this would not have worked if the sheet (?) had flowers or stripes or something.

Lighting - excellent even lighting, no shadows, nice job on that.

Fit for the challenge - this is where you lost points, with DPCers you have to make sure it's obvious to people how it fits the challenge... As I said before this would have done better in a different challenge.

Wowability - the cuteness of the two girls, and the looks on their faces really catches the viewers attention.

Overall I think you came up with a nice photo. Definitely a keeper for the family album ;-)

Really nothing to do with travel as far as I can tell...

That is hillarious! I'm trying to see the relevance to travel. I'll revisit this shot later. Jacko.

NIce!!!!! But how is is related to travelling?
01/03/2003 07:32:45 PM
but where are they traveling
01/03/2003 03:32:05 PM
Not a travel photo.

Looks a little too posed, and the colors look washed out.. More contrast or a different choice in backround would've worked better.

Travelling where? (driving you crazy?) Cute shot, very nicely taken, but the reference to the challenge is thin at best. 6 Swash

What's it got to do with travel???

I love these two kids...they are so cute...and the picture reminds me of the fun of being a kid...just not sure what it has to do with travel.

Cute photo but don't see that it has anything to do with travel, unless they're screeming because Santa is traveling. They are precious and the score is not taking anything away from your photography abilities. I just don't see it fitting the challenge in any way. Sorry. 5 PTL The girls are exceptional models and the portrait is exceptional. The expressions are worth a million dollars. Everything about the photo is top notch, except for meeting the challenge. I hope you understand.

Great shot! Would have been my favorite if it met the "Travel" challenge.

Wvery traveller will see the relavence of this to the travel subject! Only, it looks like happy screaming, not the irritated, upset, or willful screaming of children on planes and trains that we all know and love.

Very cute but I don't see travel.

A very cute photo but I fail to see the "travel" reference - good otherwise.

Cute, but how does it relate to travel?
12/30/2002 03:44:21 PM
too cute. but why are they screaming? and what does it have to do with Travel ? : )

Cute kids. Nice capture. Not sure how this fits the challenge, unless you had taken them screaming in the back seat of the car (Been there...)
