 this photo was taken at 8:56 pm and the light was fading fast. I decided to bump up my ISO to 1000, and set my shutter speed to 1/15th, to use the 'panning' technique. My goal was to show the speed of the horses, with the crowd completely blurred in the background. Just days before Canada Day, the RCMP Musical Ride is patriotic show that plays at sunset. Its a gorgeous event but it presents photographic challenges! I hope I captured the thrill ride here!

great idea! love the colors. personally, i would have cropped off the top 40%. as is, to me, the top is wasted and unbalances an otherwise superbly dynamic image.
