 Inspired by the work of Peter Funch.

I've learned about his work from Ubique. Check out the original Babel Tales. Amazing.

Taken after a choir event (Wir sind ganz Chor) on one of the squares in Frankfurt old town. The two gentlemen are wearing the orange hats from the event. I tried to create something similar to Peter's composite images in one shot. This one felt closest to his creations.

This is an incredible picture - I love crowds like these. I gave this a 6 during voting, with a little different editing/crop this could have been an 8 or 9 from me.

Suggestions in my opinion what would have worked well - crop the bottom till the shoulder of the out of focus lady in foreground, and from right till the man on the phone (left shoulder). Paint with light to direct your eye to either one of the man in the hats.

I have to appologize for the vote I gave for this. I gave it a 5 and it should really be much higher. The more I look at the image the more I'm drawn in...so many stories...

I thought this one was brilliant when I saw it during voting. And at first, I thought it might very well be a combination of multiple images. I think you hit this one out of the park on attempting to achieve the startling and intense look of Peter Funch in a single snap. Well done!
