Not really. My kids (and I) do have an X-Box game but these are a couple of old bikes too small for them. I chose this subject with the challenge in mind but it was really just a test of using my highest ISO setting with my fastest glass wide open. I was sure I would get a better shot as there are a few derelict buildings and vehicles around where I live. Alas, I didn't get to shoot any. I've been without an 'update' button for a few days and decided to enter this after all. It has many flaws and is not particularly artistic so it will not score well or get many (if any) comments I'm sure. But I will get that button back :-)

I appreciate JamesDowning comment as I originally had the exact same thought and it was originally processed as B&W and the web did become more of a feature. However, the different bikes became confusing as the handle bars and frame appeared to be the same bike but was proportionally incorrect. I introduced some of the colour again which to me showed clearly these were children bikes to meet the image’s title. I do prefer B&W images so I was quite torn with this one.

Sad how many kids lose out on the simple joys of riding their bike lately. The sense of freedom it affords kids is priceless, shame to see this lost.

Interesting concept, but the image itself is off to me. Yes it shows the concept with the aid of the title, but I think it should have been done in a B&W. I get stuck in the colors. Red, brown, pink, blue. Very off putting. However a B&W conversion could have potentially aided this image by bringing focus on the web, not the colors of the bikes.

I really like the abstractness of this. And the cobwebs..
