The composition is a bit too center middle for me. Dramatic bird. I don't know the ID.

Lovely study, nice and close, great detail in the feathers and a warm bright (evil) glow in the sharp eye. Super that you got environment as well. Looks suspiciously like a Male Cape Weaver (Southern Africa)?
