 The gals from the Palos Verdes Bike Chicks - at the halfway point of the 70 mile reverse LA River Ride. We started at Long Beach and rode to Griffith Park then back. The regular rides (family rides of 5 and 12 miles, other rides of 36, 50, 70, and 100) start at Griffith Park and return. Nice thing about starting in Long Beach as that while you did have to return into a headwind, it was a cool wind! And ever so very slightly downhill. Very slightly....
