 Ok so this is what i came up with to reflect a confused state of mind.. It pretty much what sums up as to what ideas i had brimming in my head for this challenge! :-)

Cant get any more mundane than this.. My son's alphabets and numbers against a black desktop backdrop with some increased saturation and enhanced blacks to bring out the colors! Would have loved to have added a vignette for extra impact on this one, but the ruleset did not allow for it.

Not expecting a great score on this one, but i still think the shot is interesting :-)

I would venture that this subject itself does have interest and is not very mundane. The image itself is not very engaging and is quite harsh to the eyes. Compositionally there isn't much going for it. A bit too even and obvious for my tastes. The effect from the processing however is rather interesting.
