A little bowl filled with fuschia seedpods, ivy berries, deadly nightshade berries, tea tree nuts, lacebark calyxes and anemone seed heads. I know its not a super-close bug macro, but it is pretty close, camera was on macro setting, and the end result is greatly enlarged.

Just wondering if the DNMC comments are justified or not, or whether this was simply not perceived to be a macro. The little bowl is 2 inches in diameter and the 'fruits' are really quite small.

Two inches across? Wow, I never would have guessed that. I like this image a lot, and I gave it a 7. I suspect that if people would have understood the scale of things this would have finished higher.

There are many green photos in this challenge that I don't see as macro. Most of them such as this one, are good but just not what I perceive as macro. But then again, I am no authority on the subject and I like this picture. 6
