Thanks, [user]dahkota[/user]. Your comment is spot on. I had 3 possible entries in this challenge. I cropped this image in many ways but then I realized this is just a poor composition no matter how I cut it. I entered it mainly because I thought the B&W PP was not as bad as the composition.

And Ansel Adams was one my heroes but this challenge changed this. I am looking now for new heroes.

And it is not because of the score!! (at DPC you never know how your words will be interpreted) I just do not want to take photos in this style. It seems too old fashioned to me.

Not a very strong composition. The tones are there but there is no order to them.

Great clouds. Good detail and control of exposure. I also think you've presented the sky in a favorable manner. I think the land portion needs another element of interest or more detail to give a better frame of reference for the magnificent heavens above.

I think I may have cropped a bit from the top in this to emphasize the bottom. Nice entry.
