I don't guess this looks like it's really all that much stuff, but it's supposed to represent the piles and piles of partially unpacked items that my wife and I have been dealing with for the past weeks after our move from Winchester, Virginia of over 1100 miles.

Anybody care to guess our new location? Some of my earlier photos have inadvertently included a few clues, and I'll add that I passed through a cowboy place to get here.
Now that things are slowing down just a little bit, I'll try to catch up with my side-challenge photos in the next few days, and I'll make it a point to try and take photos that will help you pinpoint my new city!

jagar, Cuttooth: Thank you both. It's been one of the tougher moves I've made, but we love the house and yard and neighborhood.

@ 4.x: I LOVE hearing the martins! Their clicks and whistles kind of remind me of dolphin noises, odd as that sounds. Maybe it was the seagulls creating all the ruckus when you lived in Florida!

No idea of your whereabouts but there's nothing more stressful than a move, the rocking chair looks inviting.

Thank you hajeka. The former owner of the home we purchased was a widower of 94, and he kept a lovely lawn and garden, which includes live oak trees and azaleas, crepe myrtles, and a thick carpet of bermuda grass. (edit): ...oh, and also an active colony of nesting purple martins, which I am thrilled to have and enjoy. THey're a first for me!
