On a trip to Home Depot to look for rose bushes (I ended up with my favorite - Mr. Lincoln - which is notoriously hard to keep alive but has THE most fragrant, deep deep red roses).. where was I? Oh, yeah, on the trip to Home Depot, I took my camera and looked for symmetrical flowers. How very boring can you get... Anyway, turns out most are asymmetrical, often with five petals, although even those tend to have bilateral symmetry (or is it radial?). This one, though, had a nice even number of 8. Shooting high ISO to overcome the wind (didn't think the HD folks wanted me snapping blooms off their merchandise just to get somewhere out of the wind). And this is because I may make it to the next round of the BYOAC. A flower. It has come to that. (Actually, I quite like shooting flowers. I just don't enter them very often.)

But I am not entering this one. I'm entering something that will, most likely, bomb.
