 Shot in a public park. Not many people frequent this place. So throwing bread to the birds was fine. Camera was handheld. Set at 70mm. I would hold my camera with one hand. Following the bird as it flew. At the rite spot, I would throw the bread with my other hand. The birds would dive down to the ground. Trying to get the bread first. This made for some great shots. I set the camera to 1/4000 of a second and the 70mm setting. This helped aid my single handed shooting. Even with these settings and a cropped image, it was not quite fast enough for the wing tips. It's amazing how fast things can happen. I must say I'm really glad I upgraded to the mark III. This kind of shot was so hit or miss before...
